IslamIQ (https://www.learnislamiq.com) is engineered with a strict privacy-by-design and offline-first architecture. We firmly believe that spiritual learning and daily worship should be private, secure, and respectful of personal dignity.
Local Storage & Device-Only Data
By default, users navigate IslamIQ in Guest Mode without needing to create an account or provide personal information. The following data is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage (LocalStorage) on your device:
- Daily Salah tracker logs and prayer checkmarks.
- Digital Tasbih counter tallies, custom dhikr targets, and preferences.
- Quiz progress, XP points, and learning streaks.
- Interface language selections (English / Urdu) and theme settings.
This data never leaves your device and is not synchronized to external marketing databases.
Ask a Scholar Confidentiality
Inquiries submitted through our Ask a Scholar portal generate a unique Inquiry Reference Number and a 64-character cryptographic Access Token. Seekers access their answers directly using this token. No public directories of personal inquiries exist, and seeker contact information is protected.
Advertising Disclosures (Google AdSense)
We use Google AdSense to serve non-intrusive advertisements on educational pages. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits. Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings (https://adssettings.google.com) or www.aboutads.info.
Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
In adherence to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), our dedicated Kids Mode contains zero commercial advertisements, does not track behavioral profiles, and collects no personal data from minors.
